Honda is all set to launch a new two wheeler in India on July 24, 2026. Although the company has not confirmed the product, many believe it could be the Honda ADV 160. In addition, the maxi scooter was recently patented in India, making it the strongest possibility for tomorrow's launch.
The Honda ADV 160 is powered by a 157cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine that produces 16 bhp and 14.7 Nm of torque. It comes with a 14 inch front wheel and a 13 inch rear wheel, along with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Moreover, the scooter offers disc brakes at both ends with single channel ABS.
Honda also equips the ADV 160 with a 27 litre under seat storage space and an adjustable windscreen, making it suitable for both city rides and longer journeys.
If Honda launches the ADV 160 in India, it will compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160, and Aprilia SR 175. However, pricing will play a major role in its success, and it may not be cheaper than its rivals.
That said, Honda has not officially confirmed the product yet. Perhaps the company could surprise everyone by launching a completely different two wheeler, including a new premium motorcycle. More details will become clear when Honda makes the official announcement tomorrow.
