Hero MotoCorp turned heads at the EICMA 2025 show in Milan with the reveal of the new Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition. This version brings real performance-focused upgrades that make it far more capable off-road. The bike gives adventure riders a taste of rally-style performance in an accessible package. Let’s know more about this Hero bike in detail.

The biggest highlight of the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition is its new suspension setup. It now gets a massive 280mm of travel at both ends, a big jump from the standard model’s suspension. This means the bike can handle tougher trails, higher jumps, and deeper ruts with ease. In addition, both front and rear suspension units are adjustable, which allows riders to fine-tune the setup to their liking.
Because of the upgraded suspension, the ground clearance has gone up to 270mm, compared to 220mm on the regular Xpulse 210. This makes it easier to glide over rocks and rough paths. However, with this change, the seat height has also increased slightly, which might make it a bit taller for some riders. To improve grip on loose surfaces, Hero has fitted knobby Maxxis tyres, known for their strong off-road traction and stability.
Visually, the Dakar Edition stands out with its red, white, and black colour scheme, clearly inspired by Hero’s Dakar Rally bike. It gives the motorcycle a rugged and sporty appearance that matches its purpose.
Furthermore, the bike remains the same mechanically. It continues to use the 210cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that makes 24.2bhp and 20.7 Nm of torque, which is paired with a six-speed gearbox. It also carries over modern features like a colour TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and three ABS modes to suit different riding conditions.
