Hero MotoCorp September Sales Rise 11.51% to 7.66 Lakh Units

Hero MotoCorp recorded total sales of 7,66,348 units in September 2026, compared to 6,87,220 units sold in the same month last year. This marks an 11.51% year-on-year growth. The company saw strong growth in both motorcycles and scooters, while domestic sales increased and exports declined during the month.

Hero MotoCorp sold 7,39,018 units in the domestic market, up 14.12% from 6,47,582 units in September 2025. This growth made the domestic market a key contributor to the company's overall September performance.

Meanwhile, exports stood at 27,330 units, compared to 39,638 units in the same month last year. This resulted in a 31.05% decline in export sales.

Hero Motorcycle sales reached 6,65,994 units, registering 6.35% growth from 6,26,217 units. In addition, scooter sales recorded a much stronger increase of 64.51%, rising to 1,00,354 units from 61,003 units in September 2025. 

Hero MotoCorp YTD Sales Grow 15.95%

Hero MotoCorp also recorded healthy growth in its year-to-date sales for FY 2026-27. The company sold 35,45,475 units, compared to 30,57,772 units during the corresponding period last year, resulting in 15.95% growth.

Domestic sales during the YTD period reached 33,54,833 units, up 16.41% from 28,81,775 units. Exports also increased by 8.32%, reaching 1,90,642 units compared to 1,75,997 units in the previous year.

The motorcycle segment recorded 31,12,665 units, showing 11.08% growth. At the same time, Hero scooter sales climbed 69.39% to 4,32,810 units. Overall, the September performance and YTD figures show continued growth across Hero MotoCorp's domestic sales and two-wheeler portfolio.
