Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 in India at a starting price of Rs. 86,500 (ex-showroom). The updated motorcycle now comes with smarter features, refreshed styling, and improved fuel efficiency. In addition, the company has focused on daily comfort and practical riding needs.

This new Hero two-wheeler model continues to target office riders and city commuters. However, Hero has now added more technology to make the motorcycle feel modern and useful. Bookings for the bike have already started at dealerships across India.

Engine Setup Remains Reliable & Fuel Efficient

The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 uses the same 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 10.7 bhp power and 10.6 Nm torque. The engine works with a five-speed gearbox for smooth city rides and highway cruising.

Perhaps the biggest highlight is this commuter bike's claimed mileage figure of 72 kmpl. Hero has achieved this number with the help of programmed fuel injection and the i3S idle stop-start system. This feature automatically switches off the engine during traffic stops and restarts it instantly.

Integrated Starter Generator Improves City Riding

Hero has also added an Integrated Starter Generator system. This setup allows quieter engine starts and smoother restarts in traffic conditions. As a result, riders may notice less vibration during ignition and stop-go movement. The company continues to use its Advanced Programmed Fuel Injection technology for better throttle response and cleaner performance.

Digital Console Adds More Smart Features

The motorcycle now gets a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth support. Riders can connect smartphones to receive call alerts and SMS notifications directly on the display.

In addition, the console also shows phone battery status, real-time mileage details, and low fuel warnings. These features help riders monitor fuel usage more easily during long rides.

Hero has also included a USB Type-C charging port. Therefore, users can charge smartphones while travelling without carrying extra adapters.

Safety Features Receive Important Upgrades

Hero has added hazard lights to improve visibility during emergencies. Moreover, the motorcycle now includes a front disc brake for better stopping power on busy roads.

The bike also features a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch for extra convenience. Meanwhile, the telescopic front suspension continues to offer a comfortable riding experience on uneven roads.

New Styling Gives the Bike a Sportier Look

The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 now carries dual-tone graphics and updated body styling. Hero has also added stylish rim tapes and fresh XTEC 2.0 badging for a sharper appearance.

The motorcycle gets a stitched dual-texture seat that improves both comfort and visual appeal. Buyers can choose from five colour options, including Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue, and Matt Chestnut Brown.
