Hero MotoCorp Begins Xoom Deliveries in Mumbai

Deliveries of Hero MotoCorp's newest 110cc scooter, the Xoom, have started in Mumbai. At Mahim's FortPoint Automotive, the first scooter was delivered.

The company's attempt to directly compete with the well-known Honda Dio is the Hero Xoom. It sports an innovative design and stands apart from other Hero scooters we've seen in the past. A 110.9cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.7Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm and 8.1 bhp at 7,250 rpm powers the Hero Xoom.

LX, VX, and ZX are the three trim levels for the scooter. Their features and tyre sizes vary, with the rear tyres on the VX and ZX grades being thicker. Moreover, the ZX model is the only one with a front disc brake.

The LX edition of the Xoom costs Rs 72,349 at launch, while the VX and ZX cost Rs 75,499 and Rs 80,499, respectively.
