Harley-Davidson has introduced the new X440 T in India at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), adding a more feature-packed and stylish option to its growing 440cc family. The motorcycle comes in a single variant and is offered in four colours: Pearl Blue, Pearl Red, Pearl White and Vivid Black. This launch follows continuous demand for the X440 range, which became one of the brand’s most accessible models since its debut in 2023.

One of the biggest issues riders had with the standard X440 was its bulky tail section. Harley-Davidson has now addressed this by giving the X440 T a cleaner and more cohesive rear design.
The redesigned sub-frame brings a sleeker tail section along with updated grab rails, which also improve pillion comfort. In addition, the motorcycle gets a refreshed stance that makes it look more modern and better proportioned.
The X440 T introduces several new features that enhance the overall riding experience. It now gets ride-by-wire throttle, which opens the door to two ride modes: Road and Rain. Moreover, Harley has added switchable traction control and switchable rear ABS, giving riders more flexibility depending on the conditions.
Interestingly, the bike also comes with a panic braking alert, a segment-first feature that flashes all indicators rapidly during sudden braking. This helps warn vehicles behind, especially during quick deceleration, and adds an extra layer of safety on busy roads.
Although the X440 T features major updates in design and equipment, it continues to run on the same 440cc air/oil-cooled engine that produces 27bhp and 38Nm. This motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox, and it has already proven its strength in city traffic as well as on open highways.
Bookings for the model start on December 7, and deliveries are expected to begin shortly through Harley-Davidson and Hero Premia dealerships across the country.
Alongside the launch, Harley-Davidson has reduced the prices of the standard X440 lineup. The X440 Vivid now costs Rs 2,34,500, while the X440 S is priced at Rs 2,54,900. These cuts, going up to Rs 25,000, make the lineup more accessible and perhaps more competitive in the 2–3 lakh segment.
In addition, Harley-Davidson has brought back its top-tier CVO range to India. The CVO Street Glide is priced at Rs 63.03 lakh, and the CVO Road Glide starts at Rs 67.36 lakh. Both models feature the powerful Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine and come equipped with a 12.3-inch TFT display running the Skyline OS system.
