FADA Sales Report June 2025: 2-Wheeler Sales Increased by 4.73%, 14,46,387 Units Sold

FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations) has announced its June 2025 sales report, which registered a YoY increase of 4.73 M% and a MoM decline of -14.26%.

In June 2025, the industry clocked in a total sales volume of 14,46,387 units, whereas in June 2024, the industry saw sales of 13,81,040 units. This resulted in a 4.73% increase in YoY growth. However, a -14.26% decline in MoM sales is observed, as sales figures in May 2025 were 16,52,637 units.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd sold 3,93,832 units in June 2025, slightly lower than the 3,97,620 units in June 2024. The Hero remains the market leader in two-wheelers. However, its market share dropped from 28.79% last year to 27.23% this year, showing a marginal decline in presence.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (P) Ltd registered 3,55,295 unit sales in June 2025, compared to 3,52,502 units in June 2024. The company showed minor growth in volume, but its market share slipped from 25.52% to 24.56%, indicating slower pace compared to competitors.

TVS Motor Company Ltd saw a strong rise, with 2,82,309 units sold in June 2025, up from 2,36,947 units in June 2024. The company gained notable ground in the market, with its share increasing from 17.16% to 19.52% over the year.

Bajaj Auto Ltd recorded 1,56,360 units in June 2025, only slightly up from 1,53,893 units in June 2024. Despite positive growth in numbers, its market share reduced from 11.14% last year to 10.81% in June 2025.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd sold 85,309 units in June 2025, improving from 73,481 units in June 2024. The brand’s market share moved up from 5.32% to 5.90%, reflecting its strong upward trend.

Royal Enfield (Unit of Eicher Ltd) showed solid growth by selling 70,640 units in June 2025, compared to 56,463 units in June 2024. Its market share increased from 4.09% to 4.88%, showing good momentum in the mid-size segment.

Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd sold 48,690 units in June 2025, down from 50,286 units in June 2024. Its market share also declined from 3.64% to 3.37%, marking a small dip in its overall performance.

Ola Electric Technologies Pvt Ltd had a sharp drop in sales with 20,190 units in June 2025, much lower than 36,859 units in June 2024. Its market share saw a steep decline from 2.67% to 1.40%, showing pressure in the electric scooter space.

Ather Energy Pvt Ltd posted strong growth, with 14,526 units sold in June 2025, compared to 6,216 units in June 2024. Its market share more than doubled from 0.45% to 1.00%, highlighting rising interest in premium EVs.

Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd improved its numbers with 4,199 units in June 2025, up from 2,716 units in June 2024. The brand’s market share went from 0.20% to 0.29%, showing consistent improvement in EV adoption.

Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd sold 2,270 units in June 2025, lower than the 2,736 units in June 2024. Its market share dropped from 0.20% to 0.16%, indicating a dip in buyer preference.

BGAUSS Auto Pvt Ltd saw a jump in performance with 1,952 units sold in June 2025, compared to 1,062 units in June 2024. Its market share increased from 0.08% to 0.13%, showing better traction in the low-cost EV segment.

Classic Legends Pvt Ltd registered a decline with 1,892 units in June 2025, slightly lower than 2,097 units in June 2024. The market share for the brand went down from 0.15% to 0.13%, reflecting its niche appeal.

Other Brands Including EV collectively sold 8,923 units in June 2025, up from 8,162 units in June 2024. Their market share grew marginally from 0.59% to 0.62%, showing stable but limited growth.
