E3 Electric.AI has launched the E3 Trion electric scooter in India, with prices starting at Rs 99,999 (ex showroom). The Bengaluru based EV startup introduced the scooter on August 6 in three variants: C1, C1x, and C2.
Bookings are now open through the company's official website for Bengaluru buyers. The launch gives customers another option in the growing electric scooter market, with a long battery warranty, practical storage, and connected features.
The E3 Trion is available in three variants with introductory prices ranging from Rs 99,999 to Rs 1.20 lakh (ex showroom, Bengaluru).
| Variant | Price (Ex showroom) | Battery | IDC Range | Top Speed |
| C1 | Rs 99,999 | 2.3kWh removable | 108 km | 67 kmph |
| C1x | Rs 1,09,999 | 3kWh fixed | 165 km | 67 kmph |
| C2 | Rs 1,19,999 | 3kWh fixed | 128 km | 82 kmph |
The C1 battery supports charging from 0 to 80 percent in about 2.5 hours. The C1x takes around 3.5 hours to charge from 0 to 80 percent. The removable battery in the C1 also offers greater flexibility for apartment users.
The electric scooter is built on the company's TRIAXISFRAME modular platform and comes with more than 100 connected features. Depending on the variant, buyers get:
The C1 uses a 5 inch LCD display with smartphone connectivity. The higher C1x and C2 variants add AI based charging insights and adaptive learning features.
The scooter also offers 52 litres of combined storage across the under seat compartment, glove box, and floorboard. Buyers can choose from six colours, including Solar Red, Misty Green, Graphite Grey, Nova Blue, Teal Blue, and Luna White.
E3 Electric is offering an eight year or one lakh kilometre battery warranty across all variants. This could lower long term ownership concerns for first time EV buyers.
The E3 Trion enters a competitive segment that already includes the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1 X, and Vida VX2.
The E3 Trion focuses on practicality instead of chasing only performance. Its long warranty, connected technology, generous storage, and competitive pricing could attract city commuters. As bookings begin in Bengaluru, the company plans to expand to more Indian cities in the coming months.
