Ducati has showcased the 2023 Panigale V4 R, the championship winning race bike, in Mumbai, India. This machine helped Álvaro Bautista secure the WorldSBK title with the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team. The bike was displayed at a private event for select automotive enthusiasts. Ducati highlighted how motorsport influences road bike development, therefore showing the connection between racing technology and the Panigale V4’s design. This exhibit attracted attention due to the bike’s historic achievements & unique livery.

The Panigale V4 R on display is the same bike Bautista rode during his record breaking 2023 season. The bike won Round 5 of the championship aboard this machine. Finished in iconic Giallo Yellow, the bike represents Ducati’s most successful modern era WorldSBK campaign. In addition, the motorcycle features a 998cc, liquid cooled V4 engine producing over 235 bhp while weighing only 168 kg including fluids.
Other highlights include Brembo brake calipers with cooling fins, an Akrapovic exhaust, & WSBK spec slick tires. Moreover, Ducati set a new record in the 2023 season for the highest number of victories by a single manufacturer. Bautista’s extraordinary run of wins and podium finishes secured the championship well before the finale, hence demonstrating Ducati’s dominance in the series.
The 2023 Panigale V4 R is powered by a 998cc V4 engine & produces more than 235bhp. It weighs only 168 kg with all fluids filled, making it extremely agile on the track. The bike comes with a Brembo brakes featuring cooling fins, an Akrapovic exhaust, & WSBK spec slick tires. Its iconic Giallo Yellow livery represents Ducati’s most successful modern era WorldSBK season. Bautista rode this machine to multiple wins, including Round 5 of the championship.
By bringing this bike to India, Ducati aimed to celebrate racing success & showcase advanced technology that transfers from track to road motorcycles. The display gave enthusiasts a rare chance to experience the WorldSBK winning machine up close.
