BSA Gold Star To Be Launch on 15 August: Know What’s New?

Classic Legends is launching the BSA Gold Star in India on August 15, 2024. This motorcycle has been available in Europe and is now finally coming to the Indian market. The company has teased this launch with hints of something "big, bold, and authentically British."


The BSA Gold Star 650 has been sold internationally for over two years. This bike was first reintroduced at the Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham in 2021. This upcoming BSA Gold Star bike features a new engine. Moreover, the fans of classic British motorcycles will soon have the opportunity to own a modern-retro BSA in India.

BSA Gold Star 650 stays true to its original design with classic styling. It has a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a flat single-piece seat, and curved fenders. The bike features a round halogen headlamp and wire-spoke wheels. Moreover, this upcoming bike has chrome accents that add to its old-school look. 


Along with this, it has modern features such as a twin-pod semi-digital instrument cluster, an engine immobilizer, and a USB port on the handlebar. It also has a slipper clutch and dual-channel ABS for safety. The bike weighs 213 kg when fully fueled and proudly displays the BSA Gold Star logo.

The BSA Gold Star 650 has the following specifications:


Engine: 652cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve engine

Power: 45 bhp at 6,500 rpm

Torque: 55 Nm at 4,000 rpm

Gearbox: 6-speed with a slip and assist clutch

Frame: Tubular double-cradle steel frame

Front Suspension: 41mm telescopic forks

Rear Suspension: Twin shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload

The BSA Gold Star 650 is expected to be priced between Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 3.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes directly with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
