Auto Expo 2023: Italian brand MBP to Unveil its T1002V ADV

With the formal announcement scheduled for the 2023 Auto Expo, the Italian bike brand MBP is prepared to launch in India. However, even though that is only a few days away, the business recently launched a few models for the UK market, including the MBP T1002V ADV adventure tourer.

The T1002V has an aggressive appearance because of its tall, upright posture and menacing-looking front fascia. It has a large windscreen on top, a beak-shaped fender beneath, and a dual-LED headlight that resembles a bug's eyes. The hefty, angular fairing surrounding the fuel tank region adds a lot of bulk, while the streamlined tail receives a sizable baggage rack.

MBP T1002V ADV is well-equipped, including a huge 21-litre fuel tank, KYB suspension, and J.Jaun brakes. In addition, MBP has included a 19-17-inch spoke wheel combination with block-pattern tyres to enable it to navigate different terrains well. However, with a weight of 235 kg, it's not very hefty given its displacement. In terms of the powertrain, it has a 997cc V-twin engine that produces 95 horsepower at 7,600 rpm and 102 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

Along with its cruiser twin, the C1002V, MBP plans to introduce the T1002V in the UK during the first quarter of 2023. It will compete with vehicles like the Triumph Tiger 900 and BMW F850GS, among others. The M502N naked street bike will be its first item for the Indian market.
