The Keeway brand has introduced the RR300 in India, priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This all-new motorcycle is currently the most affordable 300cc bike with a liquid-cooled engine in the country. It is a rebadged version of the older K300 R model and comes with a fresh design. The bike will be available at Keeway and Benelli dealerships, with deliveries set to begin by the end of July.
The Keeway RR300 motorbike comes in at a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a great value option. It undercuts the launch price of the earlier Keeway K300 R by around Rs 1 lakh. Despite the lower cost, the new model keeps all major components and performance figures the same.
The RR 300 comes with a 292.4cc, single-cylinder engine. It generates 27.5 PS at 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that also includes a slipper and assist clutch. According to Keeway, the bike can reach a top speed of 139kmph.
The motorcycle features a full fairing, short windscreen, and sharp lines for a bold and sporty look. It also gets LED lighting all around and a digital instrument cluster. The new ‘RR300’ model branding on the side panels adds to its unique identity.
The Keeway RR 300 uses a trellis frame along with 37mm USD forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 292mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS offered as standard. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 110-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyres.
The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 165 kg and a seat height of 780mm, making it easy to manage. It offers 135mm of ground clearance and a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres. Standard features include LED headlamp and tail-lamp, a digital console, and the slip-and-assist clutch.
Colour Options and Market Availability
The Keeway RR300 is available in three colour choices – White, Black, and Red. Bookings are now open, and the bike will be sold through Benelli and Keeway dealerships across the country.
The RR300 will compete with the TVS Apache RR310, BMW G 310 RR, and KTM RC 390 in the segment. With its attractive pricing and sporty look, the RR300 aims to appeal to young riders entering the faired motorcycle space.
