2025 Hero HF 100 Launched at Rs 60,118, Still the Most Affordable Bike?

Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially updated its most budget-friendly commuter motorcycle, HF 100. This bike is launched at a price of Rs. 60,118 (ex-showroom), with a modest hike of just Rs 1,100. Talking about updates of this bike, it has no major changes in its design. What’s New in the 2025 HF 100? 

The biggest change is its compliance with the BS6 Phase 2 OBD2B (Onboard Diagnostics) emission norms. This means the updated HF 100 is now greener and more environmentally responsible. While the core engine remains unchanged, a 97.2cc single-cylinder unit. It continues to produce around 7.9 bhp of peak power and 8.05 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox.
 

A notable point is that, till stocks last, the older model of the HF 100 is still available for purchase at Rs 59,018 (ex-showroom).
 

Design and Specifications

Not much has changed in terms of appearance. Hero has maintained the recognisable dual-tone colour schemes of blue-black and red-black that were present in the previous model.
 

In terms of features and design, the 2025 HF 100 remains largely the same, which isn’t surprising considering its price segment. Hero has retained the same mechanical hardware. It includes RSU telescopic front forks, swingarm 2-step adjustable suspension at the rear, 130mm drum brakes at both ends, and 18-inch alloy wheels. All of this is mounted on a strong double cradle chassis, offering decent stability and comfort for city rides.

The Hero HF 100 sits at the very base of Hero MotoCorp’s 100cc lineup. It takes place below the HF Deluxe, Splendor+, Splendor+ XTEC, and Passion+. As a result of this strategic positioning, it becomes the go-to option for budget-conscious buyers.
