2023 Hero Super Splendor XTEC Arrives at Dealer Showrooms

The Super Splendor Xtec has started to arrive in dealerships all around India. Soon, there will likely be a formal announcement, and the costs will be greater than with the standard model. It will still face off against the Bajaj CT 125X and Honda Shine, but this time around, the lineup has been expanded.

The Super Splendor is the most recent addition to the inexpensive portfolio of the local manufacturer’s steady XTEC range expansion. A new LED headlamp and an LED Daytime Running Light with an AHO function that is positioned in the middle of the device are among the noticeable upgrades. Moreover, the visor and front cowl have been updated.

The more modern all-digital console, which offers Bluetooth connectivity and alert features for calls and SMS when connected to a smartphone, has replaced the semi-digital instrument cluster. Furthermore, it displays data such as side stand indication, fuel level, real-time fuel economy, etc. In addition to these modifications, a USB charging connector has been included.

Hero has also updated the Super Splendor XTEC’s exterior graphics; a fresh paint job gives it a new look. Also updated are the exhaust unit and the fuel tank’s new 3D logo. In addition to these modifications, the well-known 124.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine now complies with BSVI level 2, and the exhaust note has reportedly been improved.

The fuel-injected i3S powertrain continues to offer a peak torque of 10.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm and a maximum power output of 10.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm. The transmission is a five-speed one. It features alloy wheels at the front and back with 80/100-18 tubeless front and 100/80-18 tubeless rear tyres, with no mechanical modifications, and rides on a diamond frame.

Telescopic front forks and hydraulic shock absorbers with a five-step adjustment are in charge of the suspension. 240 mm front disc brakes or 130 mm front and 130 mm rear drum brakes are utilised for stopping. It features a 10-litre fuel capacity and a 180 mm ground clearance.
