Yamaha Launched FZ-S Fi Hybrid in India For Rs 1,44,800

Yamaha has launched India’s first hybrid 150cc motorcycle, the FZ-S Fi Hybrid 2025. The bike features advanced hybrid technology, a stylish muscular design, and modern features. It is priced at Rs 1,44,800 (ex-showroom) and comes in two striking colours.

The FZ-S Fi Hybrid is designed for efficiency and smooth riding with better fuel economy. Yamaha has introduced this model to enhance commuter biking with hybrid assistance, which makes it a futuristic choice in the 150cc segment.

Bold New Design with Sporty Looks

Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid still features its aggressive, bold design with a muscular fuel tank and edgy styling. The turn signals incorporated into the fuel tank cover extensions enhance its sportiness. The Racing Blue and Cyan Metallic Grey colour options provide it with a premium feel. The aerodynamic and sleek profile provides improved road presence, making it a showstopper in city traffic.

Hybrid Technology for Smoother Rides

The FZ-S Fi Hybrid features Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG), which provides a mild hybrid boost during acceleration. The system assists the engine, delivering extra torque when required, especially at low speeds and while overtaking. Moreover, it enables silent engine starts and improves fuel efficiency. The Stop & Start System (SSS) automatically turns off the engine at signals and restarts it smoothly, reducing fuel consumption.

The bike uses a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 12.4PS at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch that provides smooth gear shifting. The engine is compliant with E20 fuel and follows the new OBD-2B emission standards for a cleaner and more efficient ride.

Strong Underpinnings for Stability

The FZ-S Fi Hybrid retains its robust build with telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension for smooth riding. In addition, it is equipped with a 282mm front and 220mm rear disc brake with single-channel ABS for improved safety. The motorcycle is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, with a 100-section front tyre and a 140-section rear tyre.

Modern Features for Smart Riding

Yamaha has fitted the FZ-S Fi Hybrid with a 4.2-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster. The screen provides Bluetooth connectivity via the Y-Connect app, with turn-by-turn directions, call and SMS notifications, and trip information. Other notable features are all-LED lighting, side-stand engine cut-off, and traction control for enhanced safety. The 790mm seat height and 165mm ground clearance ensure it is perfect for city and highway riding.
