Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, has secured $45 million in its ongoing Series E funding round. The investment came from Zoho Corporation and Lingotto, an investment firm backed by the Agnelli family. This new investment marks an important step in the company’s expansion strategy, as it aims to grow both within India and across global markets.
In addition, the company announced that the fresh capital will be used to scale its existing electric motorcycles: the flagship F77 and the recently unveiled X-47. The company will also be pushing ahead with the development of its upcoming platforms, Shockwave and Tesseract.

Over the past year, Ultraviolette has rapidly expanded its presence to 30 cities in India. The company intends to build on this momentum and reach 100 cities by mid-2026, reflecting its confidence in the rising demand for electric two-wheelers. However, this growth trajectory will require steady production capacity and efficient distribution, areas the company plans to strengthen with this investment.
On the global front, the F77 made its debut in the United Kingdom, extending Ultraviolette’s presence to 12 European markets. This expansion highlights the company’s ambition to compete internationally and bring its performance-focused EV motorcycles to a wider audience.
In the company’s own words, "The investment aligns with the company’s aim of building electric mobility solutions for domestic and global markets," said Co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam. His statement underscores the brand’s long-term vision to position itself as a key player in global EV mobility.

Co-founder and CTO Niraj Rajmohan said that the Series E funding will support increased production capacity to meet rising demand. He also noted that the company is committed to battery technology development, performance improvements, and scaling production for forthcoming product platforms. These steps, perhaps, will set the foundation for more advanced electric motorcycles in the coming years.
