TVS Motor Company has updated the TVS Raider 125 with four new features to improve safety and everyday convenience. The updates are available on the top two variants, SXC Dual Disc and TFT Dual Disc. These variants now get traction control, an emergency brake warning system, a 27W USB-C charger, and a wider rear tyre. In addition, the updated Raider continues to use the same engine and design as before.
The TVS Raider 125 has played an important role in the sporty 125cc motorcycle segment since its launch in 2021. Its popularity encouraged other manufacturers, including Hero, Honda, and Bajaj, to offer competing models. Now, TVS has added these features to keep the Raider competitive. The updated Raider SXC DD costs Rs. 1,00,330, while the Raider TFT DD costs Rs. 1,03,170. TVS says buyers can find the updated models at its dealerships across India.
The biggest update is traction control, which makes the TVS Raider 125 the first motorcycle in the 125cc segment to offer this feature. It helps reduce rear-wheel slip and improves grip on loose or uneven surfaces, such as gravel-covered roads. In addition, TVS has increased the rear tyre size from 110/80-17 to 120/70-17. The wider tyre can help improve grip and stability while riding.
The updated Raider also gets an emergency brake warning system. When the rider brakes suddenly, the system activates the hazard lights to alert vehicles behind. As a result, other road users can notice sudden braking more easily, which may help reduce the risk of a collision.
TVS has replaced the earlier 12W USB-A charger with a 27W USB-C charging port. This upgrade allows riders to charge compatible devices more quickly while travelling. Therefore, it adds convenience for riders who use their phones for navigation or other daily needs.

Despite these feature additions, TVS has not changed the Raider's design or engine. The TVS motorcycle continues to use its 124.8cc engine, which produces 11.2 hp and 11.75 Nm of torque. The integrated starter-generator contributes 0.55 Nm of torque.
Furthermore, the SXC DD and TFT DD variants retain their dual disc brakes and single channel ABS. With these updates, TVS aims to offer more safety and convenience without changing the Raider's existing performance package.
