TVS Motor Company has achieved a major milestone by selling more than 3.07 lakh electric scooters between January and July 2026. This means the company has already reached around 97% of its total electric scooter sales recorded in the whole of 2025. In addition, TVS also registered its highest monthly sales in July 2026, with 55,465 units sold.

TVS Leads the Electric Scooter Market

TVS continues to lead India's electric two wheeler market during the first seven months of 2026. Bajaj Auto secured the second position with nearly 2.64 lakh units, while Ather Energy ranked third with more than 2 lakh units. Moreover, Hero Vida recorded nearly 1.29 lakh units, already crossing its total sales from 2025. However, Ola Electric stood fifth with 80,282 units, followed by Greaves Electric Mobility with 53,938 units.

Strong Growth Expected in the Coming Months

TVS has maintained an average monthly sale of 43,898 electric scooters this year. Therefore, if this momentum continues, the company could easily cross the 5 lakh unit mark by the end of 2026. In addition, the upcoming festive season may further increase customer demand and boost sales.

The company also became the fastest electric two wheeler manufacturer in India to cross 3 lakh retail sales in a calendar year. Earlier, Ola Electric had taken more than eight months to achieve the same milestone in 2024.

Perhaps this strong performance reflects the growing demand for TVS electric scooters across the country. With Bajaj and Ather also recording healthy growth, the Indian electric two wheeler market continues to expand at a rapid pace. If the current trend continues, 2026 could become one of the strongest years for electric mobility in India.
