Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 vs Benelli 502C: Ultimate Specs Comparison Battle

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and Benelli 502C are two popular motorcycles in the mid-size cruiser segment. While the Super Meteor 650 is the latest addition to Royal Enfield’s stable, the Benelli 502C has been around for several years now. Both bikes offer a unique blend of style, performance, and comfort that make them a popular choice among riders. Today, we will take a much closer look at these two bikes and compare their features, specs, and performance to help you decide which one is the best fit for you.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 vs Benelli 502C: Design

The Meteor 650 adopts a more vintage style even though both bikes have proper cruiser flair. It features a split seat arrangement, a round fuel tank, a round LED headlamp, and a round tail light. The Super Meteor 650’s design elements are, therefore, extremely traditional. The Benelli 502C, on the other hand, features a butch style with a touch of modern hardware. The 502C has a more contemporary appearance thanks to its LED and somewhat curved fuel tank as well as its scooped single seat. Not to mention, the proportions of the Meteor appear to be more harmonious than those of the 502C.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 vs Benelli 502C: Features

The Super Meteor includes a twin-pod instrument console and LED lighting from Royal Enfield. The smaller unit is for Tripper Navigation, which can be accessed through Bluetooth connectivity, while the bigger dial is an analogue setup with a digital inset. Without smartphone compatibility, the Benelli 502C merely has LED lighting and an LCD instrument console.

A 648cc parallel-twin motor with an output rated at 46.3 bhp and a max torque of 52.3 Nm powers the Meteor. It is coupled to a six-speed transmission. The Meteor’s engine has a relatively long stroke, great performance, and a relaxed attitude. The 502C, on the other hand, is powered by a 500cc inline twin engine that produces 46.8 bhp and 46 nm and is mated to a six-speed transmission. In terms of power delivery, the 502C is a little more brisk and young than the Meteor.
