Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Will Hit Global Markets Tomorrow at EICMA Event

Royal Enfield is all set to officially unveil the upcoming Himalayan 450 on November 7th at the EICMA show in Milan. However, its price is expected to be revealed at the upcoming 2023 Motoverse, previously known as Rider Mania.
 

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Specs

The 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will be powered by a new 452 cc single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled 4-valve FI engine. Paired with a 6-speed transmission, the engine will produce 41 bhp at 8,000 rpm & 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm outputs. In addition, the engine will have a slip-and-assist clutch as standard.
 

This dual-purpose adventure tourer will have a steel, twin-spar tubular frame. Furthermore, it will be 3 kg lighter compared to the existing Himalayan 411. Speaking of suspension, this bike will come with 43 mm upside-down forks with 200 mm wheels at the front. In addition, a 200 mm wheel will be fitted at the link-type monoshock rear suspension.
 

In terms of dimensions, the upcoming Himalayan will have a 2,245 mm length, an 852 mm width & a 1,316 mm height. Moreover, with a 1,510 mm wheelbase and an 845 mm seat height, the bike will have better accessibility. With a 17-litre fuel tank capacity, this bike will be suitable for covering long hauls. Besides, this bike will come with a higher ground clearance of 230 mm, leading to better underbody protection. 
 

The upcoming Himalayan 450 will roll on Ceat’s 21-inch front & 17-inch rear spoked wheels with 90/90-21 & 148/80-17 tyres. Besides, this bike will feature a 320 mm ventilated front disc with dual-piston callipers & a 270 mm ventilated rear disc with a single-piston calliper assisted by a dual-channel ABS.

The upcoming Himalayan 450 will feature a ride-by-wire throttle, LED headlamps, brake lights and turn indicators. In addition, this bike will also be equipped with a circular TFT instrument cluster with Google Maps integration & a USB charging port. Coming with split seats, a luggage rack, and switchable rear ABS alongside Eco & Performance modes, this bike will have many exciting features.
 

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Price & Colour Options

The upcoming Himalayan is expected to be priced at Rs. 2.75 Lakhs. In addition, this bike might be available in 5 different colour options.
