Revolt RV BlazeX: New Electric Motorcycle Launched in India

Revolt Motors has launched the RV BlazeX, a new electric bike at Rs 1,14,990 (ex-showroom). The bike promises better performance compared to the base RV1. Bookings are open now, with deliveries commencing in early March 2025.
 

Placed between RV400 BRZ and RV400 in Revolt's product list, the RV BlazeX battles the likes of Ola Roadster X+, Komaki MX3, and Oben Rorr. Being a commuter-geared offering with performance that beats its rival products, RV BlazeX holds a strong place in the list of electric motorbikes.
 

Design and Features

The RV BlazeX shares its design with the RV1, featuring a round LED headlamp and neo-retro styling. It includes a single-piece seat, a pillion grab rail, and a sharp tail section. The motorcycle is currently available in Sterling Silver Black and Eclipse Red Black colours. 
 

Furthermore, it has a 6-inch LCD instrument cluster offers smartphone connectivity, GPS navigation, geo-fencing, and over-the-air updates. The additional features include a front storage box and an under-seat charging compartment. 
 

Performance and Specifications 

The RV BlazeX is powered by a 4.1 kW electric motor with a top speed of 85 kmph. The battery is a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery that, according to the company, will provide 150 km on a single charge. In charging, the battery will be at 80% in 80 minutes via fast charging and 3.5 hours via standard home charging. Both charging modes utilise a common 3-pin plug.
 

The bike is fitted with telescopic front forks and two rear shock absorbers. The bike is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels with front and rear disc brakes and a combined braking system (CBS) for increased safety. The RV BlazeX comes with a seat height of 790 mm, ground clearance of 180 mm, and weight of 118 kg.
