Ola To Launch New S1 Electric Scooter Next Month

Ola Electric is all set to launch its New S1 Electric Scooter in July 2023. CEO of Ola Bhavishya Aggarwal announced on its Twitter handle a teaser about the launch of the new Scooter. The company mentioned in the tweet plans to launch an upcoming variant of its S1 electric scooter. This variant is positioned as an electric scooter that could impact the sales of petrol-powered scooters in the market. This variant is believed to be the most affordable model in the Ola S1 line-up.

Pricing Details of Current Ola Variants

The pricing details indicate that the Ola S1 Air is currently the most affordable variant, priced at Rs 1.07 lakh Ex-showroom. Other Scooters of Ola, such as the S1 model, are priced at Rs 1.44 lakh and the S1 Pro at Rs 1.55 lakh. Ola Electric may introduce a sub-Rs 1 lakh variant to expand its sales and attract more customers.

Sales and Market Condition of Ola

Ola Electric mainly focuses on selling its electric scooters in large volumes. However, they already sell the highest number of e-scooters in the country. Introducing a highly affordable e-scooter could help Ola Electric achieve the necessary sales volumes.
