Matter Aera Electric Motorcycle Receives 40,000 Bookings

Matter Aera is India's first Motorcycle with Gears and is available in two variants.

Being the country's first-ever geared electric motorcycle, it provides a differentiated riding experience for customers. The Matter Aera is available in two variants, the 5,000 and 5,000+. However, both variants have the same electric motor and battery pack.

Performance of Matter Aera Electric Bike

The 13 bhp electric motor in the Aera is quite powerful for an electric motorcycle and can deliver quick acceleration. The capability to reach 0 to 60 km/h in under six seconds suggests that the Aera offers a powerful performance. Matter's decision to offer pre-booking options through their official website and Flipkart indicates a customer-centric approach. Prioritizing the fulfillment of pre-booked orders shows the company's commitment to providing a positive buying experience.

Battery and Other Features of Matter Aera

The electric motorcycle offers a 5kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 125 km on a single charge. A fast charger can charge the battery in 2 hours, and a normal charger takes 5 hours to charge. Moreover, Aera is an IP67 Waterproof rating and has liquid cooling. Both variants come with a 4-speed manual gearbox with four riding modes. The bike contains dual-channel ABS disc brakes in the front as well as at the rear. The bike also has several other connectivity features that vary in both variants.
