KTM Unleashes the Beast: Limited Edition 2023 Super Duke RR Revealed

KTM is all set to launch a limited-edition variant of the 1290 Super Duke RR in the international markets. This is one of  the flagship roadster segment motorcycles from KTM. However, the Austrian manufacturer will make only 500 units of this variant globally.

The RR variant has a gloss black and matte carbon base with white graphics and orange accents for styling. It looks like the standard model, but it is 11 kg lighter. 

It has a split-style LED headlight with DRLs, a big fuel tank, an exposed frame and subframe. In addition, the bike is equipped with a single-sided swingarm, and 17-inch alloy wheels. It has split seats for rider and rear cowl. 

The engine of this bike has the same specifications as the standard KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO: a 1,301cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 177.5 bhp and 140 Nm of torque.

The KTM 1290 Super Duke RR has WP APEX PRO 7548 Close cartridge forks at the front. Further, it has a WP APEX PRO 7746 shock at the rear. Both the suspension forks are fully adjustable. It also has a WP APEX PRO 7117 steering damper that can be adjusted in 30 clicks.

The motorcycle has an LED headlight with DRLs, LED indicators, a taillight with integrated indicators. Further, the bike is equipped with a carbon fibre subframe with a single seat, a lightweight lithium-ion battery, and lightweight forged wheels. The keys come in a special carbon fibre box. It also has an Akrapovic EVO line full-system exhaust.

The company also has a lot of PowerParts and KTM PowerWear for this motorcycle. The custom leather race suit has KTM 1290 Super Duke RR branding and design. The 2023 KTM 1290 Super Duke RR went on sale on 13 March 2023. Well, the bad news is, it will not be available in India.
