KTM Launched 1290 Super Adventure with Updates for 2024 in North America

KTM, an Austrian motorcycle maker, has updated its flagship model, the 1290 Super Adventure, for 2024. This updated range is only available for the North American market as of now. In addition, as a part of the updates, the 2024 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S & the Super Adventure R get new colour schemes. However, the motorcycle remains the same on the mechanical front.
 

New 1290 Super Adventure Range: Specs, Colour Schemes & Features

The 2024 KTM 1290 Super Adventure range is powered by a 1301cc, liquid-cooled V-twin engine, producing 158 bhp & 138 Nm torque. In addition, this V-twin engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of features, this updated range features the latest electronic aids to make it a capable continent-crossing motorcycle.
 

Coming to the colour schemes, the Super Adventure S now comes with a new white & orange paint scheme having blue graphics. On the contrary, the Super Adventure R comes with a grey shade alongside orange highlights.
 

New 1290 Super Adventure Range: Rivals

Speaking of the global market, the Ducati Multistrada, Triumph Tiger 1200 & the new BMW GS 1300 are the major rivals of the new 1290 Super Adventure range. Unfortunately, the KTM 1290 Super Adventure range is unlikely to be launched in India. However, the other rival bikes have already hit the Indian market.
