KTM has unveiled the 1390 Super Duke RR as a track focused naked motorcycle with reduced weight & sharper performance tuning. The new model brings carbon fibre components & upgraded hardware for improved control in high speed riding conditions.
It continues the larger 1390 platform direction while replacing the earlier RR version from the previous generation lineup. Moreover, KTM has focused on reducing overall mass and improving circuit performance for demanding riders. Therefore, the motorcycle targets enthusiasts who prefer aggressive riding both on road and closed circuit environments today.

KTM will produce only 350 units globally, which immediately places the Super Duke RR in an ultra exclusive category. As a result, demand is expected to remain strong among collectors and performance motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide.
However, availability will be extremely limited due to its focused production strategy and track oriented positioning. In addition, this exclusivity strengthens its position above the standard Super Duke variants in KTM’s global lineup.

The suspension system has been significantly revised with WP Pro Components replacing the earlier WP APEX setup. At the front, a closed cartridge fork offers full adjustability for compression and rebound damping for precise control. Meanwhile, the rear WP 8750 monoshock has been specially developed with improved internal flow and larger piston design.
In addition, Brembo HyPure calipers deliver stronger braking performance with reduced lever effort and improved rider feedback. Therefore, the overall setup supports confident handling during aggressive cornering and hard braking situations.
The motorcycle continues with a 1350cc LC8 V twin engine producing 190PS power and 138Nm torque output. Although the engine remains unchanged, it continues to deliver strong and consistent performance across riding conditions.
However, KTM has added a titanium Akrapovic slip on exhaust that reduces weight and sharpens the exhaust note. Moreover, this setup improves throttle response feel while still meeting global emission standards for road use compliance.
The RR comes equipped with KTM Tech Pack features including traction control, launch control, wheelie control, and quickshifter functionality. Additionally, Track mode reduces electronic intervention, allowing riders more direct control on circuit focused riding conditions. Beast mode further reduces assistance while still maintaining street legal capability for road use.
Meanwhile, forged alloy wheels inspired by the MotoGP RC16 reduce unsprung mass & improve directional response at speed. Michelin Power GP tyres also provide strong grip levels for both road & track riding conditions. However, India launch remains uncertain as KTM currently sells the 1390 Super Duke R in the market. If introduced, pricing may fall in the 28 to 30 lakh rupee range, although no official confirmation has been provided yet.
