Kinetic E-Luna Launched In India For Rs. 70,000-Check Features

Kinetic Green has launched the E-Luna at a starting cost of Rs 70,000 in India. It is available in two variant models- X1 & X2. The Kinetic E-Luna is based on the famous Luna moped from the 1970s and 1980s. It has a retro design with a round headlamp, a flat seat, and a chrome finish.

Higher Performance

The E-Luna is powered by a 1.7kWh IP67-rated lithium-ion battery that generates 2.5kW of peak power. The E-Luna is a good option for anyone looking for an affordable and stylish electric moped. It has a good range and a top speed that is sufficient for city riding. The E-Luna is also easy to use and maintain.

The 2Kwh battery offers a range of 110km with a 4-hour charging time, and 1.2kWh offers 50 kmph. Moreover, the E-Luna features a digital instrument console that displays the odometer, battery, speedometer, range, and a detachable rear seat. At the same time, it has a USB charging port for a more convenient and better rider experience. 

Hardware 

This moped bike has a telescopic fork toward the front, and on the rear, it has a twin shock absorber. Besides, it is fitted with drum brakes on both ends with CBS. This Ev accompanies 16-inch spoked wheels. Alongside this, it has a kerb weight of 96kg and a 170mm ground clearance.

Production 

This EV will be launched by KEL’s sister company, Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions Ltd. Moreover, they will manufacture around 5,000 units per month. While starting with a production capacity of 5,000 units per month, they're ready to ramp it up based on demand. This electric revival is expected to bring in an additional revenue of Rs 30 crore annually to Kinetic Engineering over the next few years. 
 

The E-Luna is a significant launch for Kinetic Green and marks the company's entry into the electric two-wheeler market. The E-Luna offers a good balance of range, performance, and affordability.
