Kinetic Watts & Volts (KWV) has announced a new technology partnership with Jio Things to develop next-generation connected electric vehicles in India. The collaboration aims to introduce smart digital features across all upcoming Kinetic electric two-wheelers. Perhaps this move will make connected EV technology more common and accessible for everyday riders in the country.
Through this partnership, KWV plans to integrate voice assistance, smart digital clusters, and IoT-based connectivity into its electric two-wheelers. In addition, the goal is to improve safety, convenience, and real-time vehicle monitoring. Jio Things, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms, brings its full-stack IoT ecosystem to the table, which includes connectivity, cloud support, device management, and after-sales services.
The collaboration is expected to play an important role in supporting India’s shift toward intelligent and sustainable mobility. By combining Kinetic’s experience in vehicle manufacturing with Jio’s digital expertise, both companies aim to deliver EVs that are not only electric but also digitally advanced.
