Kinetic e-Luna Design Patented Revealed: Now More Practical Than Before

The famous Luna was revived by Kinetic Green, but this time in an electric version known as the e-Luna. The brand has patented the design of this upcoming model. Moreover, it is accessible to both consumers and business owners. With this new version, it appears that Kinetic Green is aiming to attract customers of electric scooters. What to Expect?

According to the patent images, the e-Luna has a roomy floorboard space with a split seat arrangement. However, it is anticipated that the next iteration will be far more useful than the existing models.

The installation of a new triangular compartment to the moped's floorboard is the first and most noticeable change. Like the underseat storage for a scooter, there will probably be a storage section to keep small items safe. For further versatility, we also anticipate that this will be detachable, which should be useful when packing for a trip.

The incorporation of alloy wheels is yet another significant change. Alloy wheels are compatible with tubeless tyres, and fixing punctures will be less hectic. On the other hand, all the E-Luna models that are currently on sale in India come equipped with spoke wheels as standard.

The Kinetic E-Luna will probably stay the same aside from these modifications. Another possibility is that the model might contain a larger battery pack. But since a big battery will move the e-moped's centre of gravity, this doesn't seem logical. The scooter's handling and balance would be impacted by this modification. 

Pricing Expectations

Kinetic's E-Luna series ranges from the base X2 for Rs 69,990 to the X3 Prime for Rs 82,490. Anticipate that the new model would be the most expensive in their portfolio. Maybe it will fetch a somewhat higher price than the X3 Prime model, about Rs 86,000.
