Joint Venture of Yulu and Manga setup over 500 Battery Swapping Stations

Yuma Energy (Yuma), a partnership between Yulu, a pioneer in shared electric micro-mobility, and Magna, one of the major automotive suppliers in the world with headquarters in Canada, exhibited their next-generation battery swapping and charging network for electric two-wheelers in India.

By the end of 2023, the JV hopes to have more than 500 stations spread across numerous cities, having already created a network of more than 85 Yuma Stations in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. According to the firm, the Yuma Stations have integrated AI-powered charging devices that are more connected, effective, dependable, and safe and are concentrated in high-demand regions.

The Yuma network will not only support Yulu’s constantly growing fleet of electric two-wheelers. Still, it will also be made available to other OEMs and mobile operators so that their consumers can access battery swapping in a dependable, practical, and quick manner.
