Jawa All Stars 42 Launch Tomorrow: Expected Price, Changes and Rivals

Jawa Motorcycles will launch the Jawa All Stars 42 tomorrow in India as the third Strike update. The new version will add fresh colours and graphics. It follows the All Stars updates introduced on the 42 FJ and 42 Bobber.

Jawa is expected to keep the motorcycle’s existing mechanical package and core design. The update will give the brand’s most affordable motorcycle a visual refresh without significantly changing its everyday riding character.

Jawa All Stars 42: Expected Changes

The All Stars 42 is expected to receive new colours and graphics. Its overall design will remain largely unchanged. The motorcycle will retain its teardrop shaped fuel tank, single piece seat, round headlight and twin exhaust setup.

The current Jawa 42 is offered in Ivory and All Stars Black. The upcoming update will expand the colour choices.

Engine and Hardware Expected to Continue

Mechanically, the Jawa bike is expected to retain its 294cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine. It produces 27.3 PS and 26.8 Nm. The engine works with a six speed gearbox. This setup offers enough flexibility for city traffic and weekend rides.

The suspension setup will likely include a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. The bike will continue using an 18 inch front wheel and a 17 inch rear wheel. Disc brakes will be fitted at both ends.

Dual channel ABS will remain standard. This can provide additional braking confidence during sudden stops and slippery road conditions.

Features and Expected Price

The All Stars 42 is expected to get the same circular LCD console used on the 42 FJ and 42 Bobber. The console displays the speedometer, tachometer, odometer and trip meter. These basic readouts cover essential information for regular riding.

The Jawa 42 currently costs Rs 1.80 lakh (ex showroom). The All Stars version is expected to remain similarly priced. This could keep the Jawa bike accessible for buyers seeking a retro styled bike at a lower starting price.

Jawa All Stars 42 Rivals

The Jawa All Stars 42 will continue competing with motorcycles such as the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350. Buyers should compare pricing, comfort, mileage, features and riding character before choosing between these motorcycles.

The All Stars update mainly appears focused on giving the Jawa 42 a fresh look while retaining its existing mechanical package.
