Indian Army Collaborates With TVS To Organize All-Female Ride Of Honour

TVS is now collaborating with TVS Motor Company to organize the All Female Ride of Honour motorcycle rally for women. It will be organized to mark the 24th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The rally pays tribute to the Headquarters Northern Command Army serving women and their solid spirits. The Nari Sashaktikaran Women Motorcycle Rally takes 25 riders on TVS Ronins from the National War Memorial in Delhi to the Kargil War Memorial in Drass, Ladakh.

About TVS Ronin

The 25 female motorcyclists will ride the TVS Ronin, a modern-retro motorbike by TVS. The Ronin's 225cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine produces 19.93 Nm of torque and 20.4 PS of power. 

Route of the Rally

The riders will cover around 1,000 km throughout the rally, traversing through the challenging terrains of Jammu and Kashmir (especially Ladakh). Also, the riders will travel through the plains of Haryana and Punjab. This biking tour is expected to reach its destination; Kargil War Memorial in Drass by July 25 or 26, 2023.

Honour and Attendees of The Ceremony

The ceremony seeks to honour the brave soldiers who gave their lives in defense of the country & celebrate the military's monumental victory in the Kargil War. The rally's opening ceremony was headed by Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande, Army Wives Welfare Association Chairperson Archana Pande, and Head Business-Premium, TVS Motor Company Vimal Sumbly.
