Hero Xtreme 125R has already made a strong place in the 125cc motorcycle segment because of its sharp design and sporty feel. Now, the bike has received a small update that makes it even more appealing to young riders. Hero MotoCorp has quietly introduced two fresh colour options for the ABS variant of the bike. Along with these new shades, the company has also increased the price slightly across the lineup.

Even though the price change is small, the new colours add a fresh visual appeal to the motorcycle. In addition, the bike continues to offer the same performance, features, and design that made it popular among commuters and students.

New Colour Options Add Fresh Style

The biggest highlight of this update is the addition of two new colour schemes: Black Moon Yellow and Black Cocktail Blue. Both colours aim to give the motorcycle a new personality while keeping the sporty design intact.

The Black Moon Yellow colour scheme comes with a black base and bright yellow accents. These yellow highlights appear on key parts of the bodywork and help bring attention to the bike’s sharp lines. As a result, the motorcycle looks more aggressive and sporty. Perhaps Hero could have added a little more yellow detailing to make the look even bolder. However, even with the current design, the colour gives the bike a unique and energetic appearance.

On the other hand, Black Cocktail Blue focuses on a darker and more subtle design. This shade includes a mix of black elements along with blue highlights. Unlike the older Cobalt Blue colour that uses silver panels, this new version uses more black components. Because of this, the motorcycle looks cleaner and more modern. In addition, the darker theme may appeal to riders who prefer a stylish but less flashy design.

Small Price Increase Across Variants

Along with the new colours, Hero has also revised the pricing of the Xtreme 125R. However, the increase is quite small and may not affect buyers much.

The IBS (Integrated Braking System) variant now costs Rs 89,300, which is Rs 300 more than before. Meanwhile, the ABS single-seat and ABS standard variants now cost Rs 93,500, which means the price has gone up by Rs 1,000.

In addition, the dual-channel ABS variant now comes at Rs 1,05,500, which is also Rs 1,000 higher than the previous price.

Engine, Features & Overall Appeal

Despite the price revision, the mechanical setup of the bike remains the same. The Xtreme 125R uses a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine that focuses on both performance and fuel efficiency. The engine pairs with a five-speed gearbox, which helps deliver smooth power for city rides.

In addition, the bike offers several modern features such as LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and single or dual-channel ABS depending on the variant. The aggressive tank design and sharp body panels also make it stand out in the segment.
