Hero Sales Report December 2024: 324,906 Units Sold & Sales Declined By 17.53%

Hero MotoCorp, the leading manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters worldwide, had a drop in December 2024 sales. Last year, they sold 393,952 units; that shows a 17.53% drop from the 324,906 units sold this year.

Hero Domestic & Export Sales December 2024

Hero MotoCorp's domestic sales declined to 294,152 units from 377,842 units in December 2023, a decline of 22.15%. But exports jumped 90.90% to 30,754 units from 16,110 units last year.

Motorcycles declined to 298,516 units, or 15.83% below the 354,658 units sold last year. On the other hand, scooters fell dramatically to 26,390 units from 39,294 units sold last year, a 32.84% decline.

Hero MotoCorp's YTD sales performance indicated an overall growth in comparison to FY 2024. The company sold 4,518,642 units in FY 2025, which was 6.85% higher than the 4,229,032 units sold in FY 2024.

Motorcycle sales grew 8.27% to 4,217,249 compared to last year's 3,894,963. In contrast, the sales of scooters decreased to 9.78% less, at 301,393 units sold than FY 2024's figure of 334,069.

Domestic sales have increased by 5.79% to 4,331,998 units compared to last year's sales of 4,095,084 units. Exports increased by 39.34% to 186,644 units compared to FY 2024 at 133,948 units.
