Hero Electric Introduces 2023 Optima CX2.0, CX5.0, Nyx CX5.0

Hero Electric has updated its Optima & NYX scooter range and has launched 3 models -  Optima CX2.0, Optima CX5.0, and Nyx CX5.0. The prices of these new models haven’t been disclosed as of now. The company has primarily focused on ensuring maximum safety by adding a drive mode lock, reverse roll protection, side-stand sensor and battery safety alarm. 

2023 Hero Electric Optima CX2.0 comes with a single LFP battery, boasting a range of 89km. The new model has a 2 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 1.9 kW motor that gives a top speed of 48 kmph. It takes 4.5 hours to charge fully and weighs 93 kg. The e-scooter has a CBS, drive-mode lock, reverse roll protection and a side-stand sensor. The new model has a ground clearance of 165 mm. This model will be available in 2 colour options - Dark Matt Blue & Matt Maroon. 

Hero Electric Optima CX5.0, on the contrary, has dual LFP batteries. 2023 Optima CX5.0 boasts a range of 113 km per charge and a top speed of 55 kmph. The battery is a 3 kWh lithium-ion with a 1.9 kW motor. The e-scooter weighs over 100kg and takes 3 hours to fully charge with a dual charger setup. This model has the same ground clearance as Optima CX2.0 of 165 mm. Optima CX2.0 comes in Dark Matt Blue and Charcoal Black.

Hero Electric Nyx CX5.0 has dual LFP batteries with a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery, a top speed of 48 kmph and a range per charge of 113 km. It comes with a weight of 106 kg and takes 3 hours to charge fully. Nyx CX5.0 has the highest ground clearance for this range - 175 mm. Optima CX5.0 is available in Dark Matt Blue and Matt Maroon.
