Harley Davidson Marks its 120th Anniversary with 6 New Limited Edition Models

Harley Davidson has kicked off this year with its most elaborate 120th-anniversary celebrations with their new 2023 lineup of motorcycles. The lineup will include 7 special edition bikes. The 120th-anniversary edition line will have a limited manufacturing quantity and feature elaborate colour and pattern combinations in unique paintwork.

Harley-Davidson’s 120th-anniversary edition range includes the

1. CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary,

2. Tri Glide Ultra Anniversary - 1,100 units

3. Street Glide Special Anniversary - 1,600 units

4. Road Glide Special Anniversary - 1,600 units

5. Fat Boy 114 Anniversary - 3,000 units

6. Heritage Classic 114 Anniversary - 1,700 units

Talking about 120 years of Harley-Davidson, Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and CEO of the brand, said, “Since 1903, Harley-Davidson has pioneered American motorcycle design, technology, and performance, and today marks the beginning of a year-long celebration of Harley-Davidson’s 120th Anniversary. We’re excited to share the first release of 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycles, with more to come later in the year. 2023 is going to be an unforgettable milestone for the Company, celebrating the history, culture and community of Harley-Davidson – we hope you can join us.”

The Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary Edition bikes feature the most detailed paint job they have ever given. First, the panels have an anniversary black base coat, which is followed by panels painted in heirloom red. Finally, a bright red pinstripe and hand-applied gold paint scallops are used to outline the panels. The painting also has modest additions made inside the panels that depict an eagle’s head and wings as it soars.

An important part of Harley-design Davidson’s history, the fuel tank medallion features an art deco interpretation of the eagle and is made of gold plating. New Alcantara-upholstered seats with red and gold contrast stitching highlights are among the further modifications. There are also gold-tone engine inlays, bright red rocker boxes, and pushrod tube collars. Additionally, a laser-etched panel on the fuel tank console will be used to serialise each limited-edition motorbike.
