FADA 2-Wheeler YoY Sales Report April 2023

FADA recently shared the two-wheelers sales report for April 2023. For April 2023, 12,29,911 units of total 2-wheelers were sold in the Indian market, compared to 13,26,773 in April ‘22, showing a decline of -7.30%.

This year too, Hero MotoCorp topped the chart with sales of 3,90,673 units in April ‘23. However, there was a decline of 9.44% as last year's April ‘22 sales were 4558287 units.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd made the second highest sale of 244044 units for April ‘23. But there was a YoY decline of 17.26%, as April ‘22 sales stood at 294952 units.

At third, TVS Motor Company maintained the place with sales of 208266 units in April ‘23. There was an increase in sales by 6.38% for this brand as its last year sales in April ‘22 were 195773 units.

Sales Data for Electric Two-Wheelers in April ‘23

Ola Electric, with 21,882 sales in April’23, had a huge growth of 72.19%, compared to 12,708 sales in April ‘22.

Ampere vehicles bagged second place with sales of 8,318 units in April ‘23 (compared to 6,540 sales in April ‘22), showing a growth of 27.19%,

Ather Energy took third place with sales of 7,746 units in April ‘23, compared to 2,451 sales in April’22. This data shows an impressive YoY growth for the brand by 216%.
