Published at January 1, 2025 | By BikeJunction

Bajaj has recently launched one of the most stylish and feature-rich bikes in the 125cc segment.  However, the TVS Raider 125 is already the highest-selling bike in this segment. Will Pulsar N125 succeed in the segment?

The recently launched Bajaj Pulsar N125 is priced slightly higher at Rs. 94,707, while the TVS Raider 125 starts at an affordable price of Rs. 84,869.  Now, let's see who does better between them.

Performance and Mileage

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 comes with a 124.58cc engine, which produces 11.83 bhp and 11 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the TVS Raider 125 with a 124.8cc engine produces 11.2 bhp with an 11.2 Nm of torque. Therefore, at peak, the Pulsar gives out a slightly higher power, but the Raider provides its torque quite a bit lower in its RPM band, hence potentially improving city rideability.

Apart from that, in the context of mileage, it has 67 kmpl, whereas this Bajaj bike gives a mileage of approximately 64.75 kmpl. Thus, when daily commuting is concerned, this increased fuel efficiency for the Raider might mean that considerable money would be saved in the long run.

The most noticeable thing when purchasing a 125cc bike in India is its features. As per this, both of these motorcycles have given a lot of new and useful features to Indian customers. The N125 is featured with LED headlights and taillights, an LCD dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity, and single-channel ABS. Similarly, this TVS bike offers LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and optional connected features in higher variants.

The Raider's instrument cluster provides real-time mileage indicators, gear position indicators, and a top-speed recorder, adding a tech-savvy edge. Additionally, the Raider offers a comfortable riding posture with a well-cushioned seat. This enhances rider comfort during long commutes.
