Indian two-wheeler distributor MotoHaus is preparing to introduce the new Crossfire 500 Storr adventure tourer in the country between April and June 2026. The motorcycle was earlier expected to appear at a major riding festival late last year. However, plans changed after the event venue shifted from Goa to Panchgani, and the company chose to postpone its debut.
Now, the brand appears ready to move forward with the launch, perhaps aiming to enter the growing mid-capacity adventure segment at the right time. The motorcycle comes from Austrian-linked manufacturer Brixton Motorcycles, and the model has already been showcased internationally, including riding demonstrations in Austria.

The Crossfire 500 Storr uses a 486cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces about 47bhp and 43Nm. This output places the bike within licence-friendly performance limits while still offering enough power for highway travel and mild off-road routes. In addition, the engine pairs with a six-speed gearbox intended to deliver smoother cruising at higher speeds.
The motorcycle relies on a tubular steel frame that focuses on durability and touring stability. Suspension duties come from upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, which together aim to handle uneven roads with control. Meanwhile, a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup supports mixed-terrain riding. The bike also runs on Pirelli’s Scorpion Rally STR tyres, which try to balance grip on both asphalt and loose surfaces.

This feature package seems great for this segment. Crossfire 500 Storr has both switchable ABS and traction control, in which the riders can customize the amount of assistance to suit the terrain. Moreover, the bike has complete LED lights to enhance visibility and a digital display to give information on the ride.
The seating arrangement appears to be also comfort-oriented, as the seats are made to be used for long distances. Nevertheless, the handling nature of the bike is more of stability rather than agile, and this can be accommodating to a touring rider.
MotoHaus will be positioning the Crossfire 500 Storr over the price of Rs. 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom). At a competitive price, the motorcycle may attract the attention of customers who may be looking at models such as the KTM 390 Adventure and upcoming BMW F450 GS.
