Brixton has cut the price of its scrambler, the Crossfire 500 XC. The bike is now priced at Rs 4.92 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it Rs 27,499 cheaper than before. With the festive season here, Brixton wants to attract more riders with this move. The bike stays the same in design and performance, but the price cut makes it a stronger rival against brands like Royal Enfield and Benelli.

The new price of Rs 4.92 lakh makes the Crossfire 500 XC more tempting. Earlier, it was sold at Rs 5.19 lakh. This reduction places the bike closer to its sibling, the Crossfire 500 X, priced at Rs 4.74 lakh. Brixton hopes this will push more buyers to consider the XC. The cut also comes at a smart time, during Ganesh Chaturthi and the festive buying season.
The scrambler market is getting hotter in India. Royal Enfield Bear 650 is the most affordable twin-cylinder scrambler. Benelli’s Leoncino 500 also attracts riders at a competitive price. Brixton, being a newer brand, faces tough competition. Its smaller sales and service network also limits reach. This price cut is Brixton’s way of staying relevant and drawing attention.

The Brixton Crossfire 500 XC still runs on a 486cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This motor makes 47.6bhp and 43Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. These numbers make the bike powerful enough for both city rides and highway cruising. Riders will find it smooth, refined, and reliable for long journeys.
The Crossfire 500 XC gets premium equipment. It has fully adjustable KYB upside-down forks at the front. At the rear, it carries a preload-adjustable monoshock. For braking, the bike uses twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. Moreover, the setup is supplied by J.Juan and supported by dual-channel ABS. This ensures strong and safe stopping power on every ride.
The Crossfire 500 XC looks rugged and stylish. It has a muscular fuel tank with Brixton’s signature X-shaped styling. There’s a wide handlebar, flat scrambler seat, and minimal bodywork that add to its appeal.
The bike is available in two colours: Desert Gold and Backstage Black. The tall stance, 220mm ground clearance, and 839mm seat height make it trail-ready. It feels manageable for most riders with a kerb weight of 195kg.
The scrambler rides on wire-spoke wheels. At the front, it gets a 19-inch wheel. The rear uses a 17-inch wheel. These are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. The tyres are suitable for both on-road and off-road riding. This gives the Crossfire 500 XC a true scrambler feel.
Brixton has kept the bike simple but modern. It comes with full LED lights and a round LCD console. However, the bike lacks features like Bluetooth connectivity or phone navigation. Still, it has useful additions like adjustable levers, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch, and a USB charger. These features balance the bike between retro charm and modern practicality.
