BMW Motorrad has launched the limited edition G 310 RR in India to celebrate crossing the 10,000-unit sales mark in the country. The motorcycle will be available in limited numbers and can be purchased at BMW Motorrad dealerships across India.
The bike is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This edition is Rs 18,000 more expensive than the standard G 310 RR. However, the changes are largely cosmetic, as the mechanics remain the same.
The G 310 RR limited edition comes in two colour choices, including black and white. Both shades are complemented by striking blue and red graphics across the front fender, fairing, and parts of the fuel tank. In addition, BMW has added wheel rim stickers to enhance its sporty character. To emphasise exclusivity, the motorcycle also gets a ‘1/310’ badge, highlighting its special-edition identity.
The limited edition retains the LED headlight, LED turn indicators, and LED taillight from the standard model. Riders also get multiple riding modes and a fully digital instrument console, which makes it modern and practical at the same time.
The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 312.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 34 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, which offers smooth gear shifts and a strong mid-range.
The G 310 RR rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with Michelin tyres (110/70 front and 150/60 rear). Apart from this, the bike gets USD telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock, ensuring a balanced ride.
This BMW motorcycle comes with a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS for better safety. The motorcycle has a fuel tank capacity of 11 litres and weighs 174 kg, which makes it nimble enough for city rides as well as highway runs.
