Dealerships of BMW Motorrad across India have started offering large discounts on the BMW CE 02 electric two-wheeler. In some cities, the entry version now costs around Rs 2.50 lakh on road. Meanwhile, the better-equipped Highline variant has been spotted at roughly Rs 3 lakh on road in places such as Bengaluru.

However, buyers should note that these reductions are not official price cuts from the brand. Instead, individual dealers are offering them to clear remaining stock. Because of this, prices may differ in cities like Mumbai or other regions, and availability could be limited.

Battery Performance & City-Focused Riding Character

BMW CE 02

The CE 02 is designed for urban mobility and short commutes. It has a capacity of 3.92kWh in two battery modules. This configuration generates 11kw of peak and 55Nm of torque. Moreover, the company features range of up to 108km and a maximum speed of 95kmph.

Moreover, the scooter is being manufactured in the country by the TVS Motor Company in its plant at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Local production will allow the owners to control the costs and increase service accessibility that might be beneficial over time.

Highline Variant Adds Style and Comfort Feature

The Highline trim is a visual and functional upgrade of the vehicle in several aspects. It has a gold-finished upside-down front fork, vivid graphics, a tri-colour seat, heated grips and smartphone mount. These details give the scooter a more high-end and technology-oriented feel as compared to the bottom version.

However, both trims share the same battery, motor and basic safety setup. Disc brakes on both wheels and single-channel ABS come standard, ensuring dependable stopping power for daily traffic use.

How the Discount Changes the Buying Decision

At these reduced prices, the CE 02 suddenly sits closer to performance-focused electric scooters such as the Ather 450 Apex and even rivals like the TVS X in certain markets. This shift perhaps makes it one of the most accessible entry points into BMW’s two-wheeler range today.

Still, interested buyers should act quickly. Dealers say only a small number of units remain at these prices. Therefore, checking with the nearest BMW Motorrad showroom soon may be the best way to confirm stock, offers and exact on-road costs.
