The Indian two wheeler market has seen multiple updates across electric and petrol segments recently. New launches, price revisions, and sales growth are shaping buyer decisions in 2026. Oben Electric introduced the Rorr EVO with strong range and early pricing benefits. Ampere also launched the Magnus Neo for city use. Bajaj revised Pulsar NS400Z pricing and updated the Chetak lineup. Meanwhile, TVS Jupiter recorded strong yearly sales growth.
Several brands have introduced updates across different segments, focusing on pricing, performance, and usability. Electric models are expanding in the entry and mid level space with better range figures. Petrol motorcycles are also receiving price corrections to stay competitive in the market. These changes indicate steady movement in both categories. As a result, buyers now have more options across electric and petrol choices.

Oben Electric launched the Rorr EVO bike at Rs 1 lakh for the first 10,000 buyers, increasing to Rs 1.25 lakh later. It uses a 9kW motor, reaching 40 kmph in three seconds with a 110 kmph top speed. The 3.4kWh or 3.5kWh LFP battery claims 180 km range, while real usage may vary between 100 to 150 km. Fast charging takes about 90 minutes, and the battery includes an eight year warranty. Bookings opened at Rs 777.

Ampere launched the Magnus Neo at Rs 86,999 for daily urban commuting needs. It offers simple riding, updated ergonomics, and a 777 mm seat height for better comfort. The scooter runs on a 2.3 kWh LFP battery with a claimed range of 118 km. It reaches a top speed of 65 kmph, suitable for city use. Charging to 80 percent takes around five hours, while availability begins in selected states.

Bajaj Auto reduced the Pulsar NS400Z price by Rs 14,000, bringing it down to Rs 1.80 lakh. This follows a shift to a 349cc engine for lower tax benefits. Buyers may save up to Rs 24,500 on overall ownership costs. The engine produces 40 bhp and 33.2 Nm torque with a six speed gearbox. Features remain unchanged, including traction control, dual channel ABS, quick shifter, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Bajaj updated the Chetak lineup with revised pricing, improved speeds, and added features across variants. The entry level model now starts at Rs 91,504. The range offers speeds between 60 and 80 kmph depending on the variant. Some models now include Eco and sport modes with hill hold assist as standard. Charging time has reduced for select variants, while higher models offer navigation and OTA updates.

TVS Jupiter recorded 1.46 million sales in FY2026, marking its highest yearly performance. Total sales have crossed 9 million units since its launch in 2013. The scooter achieved 32 percent growth compared to the previous year. Average daily sales remained above 4,000 units, showing steady demand. Jupiter contributes over 62 percent of total TVS scooter sales, supporting overall company performance.
