Bajaj has announced a new Rs 5,000 discount on the Freedom 125 motorcycle. This offer is only for the base NG04 Drum variant. The new price makes it more affordable than ever before. Bajaj shared this update on its official social media pages.
The Freedom 125 runs on both petrol and CNG, helping save money on fuel. Moreover, this move comes as Bajaj aims to attract more buyers. However, the bike still faces challenges in terms of CNG availability in many areas.

The NG04 Drum variant now costs Rs 85,976, down from Rs 90,976. This discount is available only for the entry-level model of the Freedom 125. The NG04 Drum LED and Disc LED variants still cost Rs 95,981 and Rs 1.11 Lakh, respectively.
So, if you're looking to save, the base variant is the best choice. Bajaj has made no changes to the bike's design or features. It's the same bike, but now available at a lower price.
The Freedom 125 runs on both petrol and CNG. It has a 2-litre petrol tank and a 2kg CNG tank.
Together, they give a claimed range of 330km. The fuel efficiency of this Bajaj bike is 65 kmpl on petrol and 102km/kg on CNG. That makes it one of the most cost-effective bikes to run.
However, CNG filling stations are not available everywhere. This limits the bike's popularity in some states. In April 2025, Bajaj sold only 993 units, which is a 28.7% drop from March sales.
The Freedom 125 makes 9.3 bhp of power and 9.7 Nm of torque. This is similar to 100 - 110cc petrol bikes in terms of performance. It comes with a long 785mm seat, great for daily use. The bike has an 825 mm seat height and balanced suspension.
It uses a telescopic fork at the front and a linked monoshock at the rear. You also get a monochrome LCD, Bluetooth, and LED lights. However, the bike features halogen indicators.
