Ather Energy Launches Updated 450 Apex: What’s New?

The 2025 version of Ather Energy's main product, the 450 Apex, has been modified. Minor changes have been made to the scooter, but its ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.95 lakh has not increased. Customers who are interested can reserve the new scooters online or by visiting their closest dealerships. Additionally, test rides are in progress, and deliveries are anticipated to start shortly. 
 

What’s Improved?

Multi-Mode Traction Control, a function usually seen in high-end bikes, is now available on the 2025 Ather 450 Apex. With this technique, the front and rear wheels are synchronised for improved stability in slippery conditions.
 

A 3.7 kWh battery powers the Ather 450 Apex's powerful 7 kW motor, giving it a 130 km range. Furthermore, this 3.7 kWh battery takes 5 hours and 45 minutes to charge using the 700W charger.
 

The Apex offers riders three different mode options. Rain Mode provides optimal traction on damp conditions, while Road Mode strikes a balance between performance and safety. Last but not least, Rally Mode is built for off-road driving. Moreover, turning off the traction control is another option for those who want total control over the scooter.
 

New Tyres & Improved Range

The 450 lineup comes with new Zapper N e-Tred tyres, which were created especially for the Ather product range in collaboration with MRF. These tyres increase the genuine battery range from 105 km to about 130 km because of their reduced rolling resistance.
 

The 2025 Ather 450 Apex's other characteristics are unchanged from the previous model. One of the scooter's best features is its 2.9-second 0–40 kmph sprint time. This makes it the fastest scooter in the company's lineup. Furthermore, its top speed of 100 kmph is 10 kmph faster than the 450X.
 

In terms of appearance, it differs from the other 450 models. It has an orange alloy wheel set that contrasts with its brilliant blue bodywork and transparent side panels that show off its aluminium subframe. Furthermore, Google navigation, a TFT display with Bluetooth, and all-LED lights come with this updated model.
