Ampere Magnus G Max Launched at Rs 94,999 With 100km Range

Ampere has introduced the Magnus G Max electric scooter in the Indian market. The new scooter is priced at Rs. 94,999 ex-showroom and focuses on daily commuting needs. It highlights usable riding range, large storage space, and simple riding features. Therefore, the Magnus G Max targets buyers looking for predictable performance in cities. The launch further strengthens Ampere’s electric scooter portfolio in India.

Electric Scooter Designed for Daily Urban Commuting

The Ampere Magnus G Max arrives as an electric scooter designed for routine urban commuting needs. It promises a long usable riding range, balanced top speed, and comfortable ride quality. Moreover, the scooter offers good ground clearance and a spacious under-seat storage area. Ampere states the model is suited for Indian road conditions and daily riding patterns. 

Price, Battery & Claimed Range

The Ampere Magnus G Max is launched at an introductory price of Rs. 94,999 ex-showroom. It uses a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery focused on safety and longer life. The company claims over 100 kilometres of real world range in Eco riding mode. However, the certified range figure is mentioned at more than 142 kilometres. Charging from 20 to 80 percent takes around 4.5 hours at home. In addition, Ampere provides a five year or 75,000 kilometre battery warranty.

Motor Performance & Riding Modes

The scooter features a hub mounted electric motor delivering 1.5 kW nominal output. Peak power reaches 2.4 kW, which supports smooth city riding conditions. The top speed of Ampere Magnus G Max is 65 kilometres per hour. Moreover, riders get Eco, City, and Reverse riding modes. The dual frame chassis and 165 mm ground clearance help manage uneven roads.

Features, Comfort & Storage Space

The Ampere Magnus G Max offers a large 33 litre under seat storage compartment. Therefore, it stands among the more easy going scooters in its segment. The front hydraulic telescopic suspension and rear coil spring that absorbs shocks for ride comfort. It gets a 3.5 inch LCD display with USB charging support. LED lighting is standard, while connected features are optional through a TCU.
