5/5

Honda Livo is built for the everyday rider. At first glance, it looks modern and neat, and once you ride it, it just feels right. We took it through busy city streets, rough patches, and open stretches, and it impressed us in more ways than one.

Honda Livo - Overview

Honda has clearly tried to balance looks, comfort, and fuel economy here. And if you’re someone who commutes to work or college, or even makes short weekend trips, the Livo makes a strong case for itself. The Livo feels practical and a little fun too, which is rare in this price range.

4/5

  • The Honda Livo has a clean and stylish look that instantly catches your eye, especially with the fresh colour options and bold tank extensions.
  • We love how the tank is sculpted, it gives the bike a more muscular feel, which adds a touch of flair to your daily rides.
  • Unlike other bikes in this category, the design is elegant, modern, and still feels young.
  • The halogen headlamp looks sharp and fits nicely with the front fairing. But we wish it could have LED lights like other bikes in the segment.

Honda Livo - Headlight

  • Honda has done a great job with the blacked-out engine and alloy wheels. They add a bit of attitude to an otherwise humble commuter.

4.5/5

  • The 109.51cc engine feels peppy when you're riding through traffic, you won't feel like the bike is struggling to keep up.

Honda Livo - Engine

  • We noticed the throttle response is quite friendly. It picks up gently, which is great for beginner riders.
  • The bike feels happiest at 40-55 kmph. That's the sweet spot where it just glides through city traffic.
  • The engine has a quiet and calm nature. At idle, it's barely noticeable. This bike is perfect for those who prefer peace over loud growls.
  • Once you hit around 65 kmph, you can feel a few vibes on the handlebars and footpegs, but it’s nothing too distracting.

Honda Livo - Footpegs

  • We loved how smooth the gear shifts felt, the heel-and-toe shifter with the all-down pattern works very well.
  • You’ll be surprised at how light the clutch is. It makes stop-and-go traffic a lot less tiring.

Honda Livo - Clutch Lever

  • We know fuel efficiency matters a lot in this segment. The Livo shines here too.
  • Honda claims around 60 kmpl and in our mixed testing, we got somewhere close to 58 kmpl.
  • With an 9 litre fuel tank, you can easily go over 520 kms before needing a refill.

Honda Livo - Fuel Tank

  • If your daily commute is around 20-30 km, you might not have to visit the petrol pump for a couple of weeks.

4.5/5

  • The seating position is upright and very comfortable, you feel in control without being hunched over.

Honda Livo - Seat

  • The long seat offers enough space for both the rider and the pillion to sit comfortably.
  • Even after 30-40 minutes of riding in traffic, we didn’t feel sore or stiff. It’s great for daily city rides.
  • The suspension setup is clearly tuned for city use. It absorbs speed breakers and potholes without jolting you.

Honda Livo - Front Suspension

  • We took it through some rough back roads, and it handled small bumps and uneven patches like a champ.

Honda Livo - Mudguard

4/5

  • The digital-analogue instrument cluster looks clean and is easy to read, even under sunlight.

Honda Livo - Digital Console

  • You get useful info like speed, fuel level, trip meter, and even a gear position indicator.
  • There’s a side-stand engine cut-off sensor, which is great for safety, especially for new riders.
  • It also gets a service-due indicator, which is a helpful reminder for those who often lose track of maintenance schedules.

Honda Livo - Indicator Switch

5/5

  • With telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear, it handles most road conditions without complaints.
  • Honda offers 3 free services, which should cover you for the first 6-8 months of ownership.
  • The service cost is pretty low too, so it's budget-friendly in the long run.
  • The front disc brake (in the Disc variant) offers good stopping power. It doesn’t feel sharp or sudden, just the way a commuter should be.

Honda Livo - Brake

  • The rear drum does its job well in traffic, especially during slow-speed braking.
  • We rode through tight lanes and crowded markets, and the bike felt easy to handle and light on its feet.

Honda Livo - Tail light

  • The MRF tubeless tyres offer decent grip, even on slightly dusty or wet roads.

Honda Livo - Tyre

4/5

If you want a stylish commuter that’s easy to ride, saves fuel, and needs little upkeep, the Honda Livo is a great pick. It’s simple, practical, and perfect for daily rides to college, office, or a quick spin around town.

Honda Livo - Exhaust

What stands out is how effortless it feels. The ride is comfy, the engine does its job well, and the sporty look adds a nice touch without being flashy.
