Yamaha Will Launch Its First EV At The January 9th Event

Yamaha has announced an event on January 9th, and the rumorous says that they might unveil their first electric vehicle. Moreover, they are likely to introduce new colour options for existing models like the Fascino, Ray ZR, R3, or MT-03. 

Yamaha’s 9th January Event: 

Yamaha's scooter sales in India are lagging behind the competition, missing the top 10 in November 2023. Maybe that’s why they are introducing new colour options for the Fascino, Ray ZR, R3 and MT-03 to boost their sales. 

At the same time, rumours reveal that it shows white, purple, and blue hues. Yamaha R3 gives competition to RS457, Kawasaki Ninja 400 and KTM RC 390. However, the Aprilia RS457 comes with more features and enhanced performance than the R3 and MT-03. 

Here are details of Yamaha’s New EV:

• The new Yamaha EV is ready to launch on the 9th of January. 
• This bike will come with a price tag of approx. Rs. 2.5 Lakh.

However, the Fascino and Ray ZR will be fitted with a 125cc Fi Hybrid air-cooled motor that delivers 10.3 Nm of torque.
