Yamaha has increased the prices of its RayZR 125 scooter lineup in India. The hike applies to both the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and the Street Rally version. Each variant now costs Rs 660 more than before.
The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid drum variant now costs Rs 74,960. Earlier, it was priced at Rs 74,300. Similarly, the disc standard variant now comes at Rs 81,560. Its previous price stood at Rs 80,900.
In addition, the disc DLX variant now costs Rs 82,460. Earlier, buyers could purchase it for Rs 81,800. The Street Rally Fi Hybrid model now costs Rs 87,560, up from Rs 86,900.

Yamaha has raised prices due to higher input and logistics costs. Perhaps, the new financial year also played a role in this revision. Many manufacturers adjust prices during this period.
However, the increase remains small and uniform across all variants. This ensures buyers do not see a major jump in cost.
Despite the price hike, Yamaha has not made any mechanical updates. Both scooters continue with the same 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
This engine produces 8bhp and 10.3Nm of torque. It focuses on smooth city rides and good fuel efficiency. In addition, the hybrid system helps improve mileage and provides better pickup.
RayZR 125 Street Rally is distinguished by its rough styling. It has handguards, flyscreen and special DRL design. All these make it look bold and sporty.
Additionally, it has block-pattern tyres with it. These tyres enhance the grip on the uneven or rough roads.
Conversely, the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid looks cleaner. It is also appropriate to urban riders who are fond of a simple but stylish scooter. The similarity, however, between the two models is that they have the same main features and performance.
The price adjustment by Yamaha is an indicator of a larger trend in the auto industry. Increasing prices are still being felt in the segments. Prices have already been raised in recent months among many brands. Nevertheless, the slight increase might not make a great impression on purchasing behaviors. The RayZR 125 range could still be appealing for daily commuting.
