Yamaha R15 Introduces New Color Variant in India at a More Affordable Price

Yamaha R15 was launched at a Price of Rs.1,81,900 in Dark Knight Colour.

Yamaha has introduced a new colour variant for the R15 V4 called the Dark Knight edition. This edition features a unique paint scheme with a matte black base and golden highlights. The Dark Knight edition is priced at Rs 1,81,900 (ex-showroom).

Compared to the other available colour options, the Dark Knight edition is more affordable than the Racing Blue and Intensity White variants but slightly more expensive than the Red paint scheme. This gives potential buyers an additional choice when selecting the colour of their R15 V4.

The Dark Knight edition paint schemes offered on previous Yamaha models, like the FZ and R15 V3, have a matte black base paint with golden accents similar to the R15 V4 Dark Knight edition. These golden accents can be seen on the motorcycle's front and side panels and the wheels. It gives the bike a distinct and aesthetically appealing appearance.

Besides the new colour scheme, the R15 Dark Knight edition remains unchanged. It is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm of torque. The engine is also paired with a six-speed gearbox. In addition, the motorcycle retains features such as dual-channel ABS, LED headlamp and tail lamp lighting, and golden wheels.

In the Indian market, the Yamaha R15 V4 competes with rivals like the KTM RC 125 and RC200, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, and the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200. These bikes are popular choices among enthusiasts looking for sporty and performance-oriented motorcycles.
